So many people are writing about ZeroWater filters not lasting long. We have an answer to this. We measured our tap water and found it to be a pH7.02 and 178ppm. We also had the water tested for trace minerals, we knew that the water was a little high in calcium, but it also had trace amounts of copper, lead, chromium, fluoride, chloride, etc. Next, we boiled the water in a stainless steel kettle and re-measured it, we got a pH7.35 and 132ppm. This means that just by boiling the water, we already reduced some of the contaminants (boiled off, etc), moreover, after boiling the water and letting it cool, one can easily see the calcification build up settling on the bottom AND a thin film floating on top. Once the water was sufficiently cooled down, we dump out the thin film from the top, then proceeded with a brand new ZeroWater filter. We didn't pour in the whole kettle of water, we throw away the little remaining amount towards the bottom that contains the calcified white pieces. The readings on the filtered water were 000ppm and a pH6.78, the pH increased after the first use to pH6.84 and then slowly with every use up to approx pH6.98 it leveled out. We used the one filter for 4 months, it was only showing 003ppm when we changed it, well within limits, yet the time it took to filter was getting really slow. It is possible to get up to 4+ months, I guess it all depends on your technique as well as the water at the beginning before it is filtered.To summarize, I would have to say, it does not seem like it is the fault of the manufacturer to receive criticism for the poor quality of someones water. Likewise, it would not make sense to pour old or dirty fuel into a brand new car and then complain to the manufacturer that their car does not perform as well. We now only spend 48.50 Euros a year on filters. For us, there was nothing better per cost, for the year as using these filters. Using the same techniques with two other manufacturers, their filters did not even last 1 month and brand new they never gave us 000ppm.

I've purchased filters at the store for almost a year and figured it was time to finally buy in bulk. I've never had problems before but these gave off bad tasting water from the start. We thoroughly washed the container tried with the second filter included and still bad tasting water. Purchased a filter from the store and water taste great again. Returning the rest of them. Very disappointed.

The filters are good, while they function. In the first batch of 4 filters, one had a major problem (took a while to understand where the foul smell was coming from...) and another, around its midlife, started producing a stinking smell (I'd rather not know what chemical we swallowed...)When the filter works, the water is great.Ordered a second pack of 4: it was just dumped in a large box. No protection whatsoever (carton, paper, bubbles, nothing!). Definitely worried about their status.

They are a bit pricey but the water tastes so good, I think they're worth it. The only issue I have is that it's a lot of waste to throw one of these away when it's done. Especially since they say throw them out when they reach 6 TDS and the water tastes great all the way to around 100 TDS for me.

We have been using zero water for quite a while and have always been pleased with this product. The only problem with the last order was that one of the filters seemed to take forever to drain the water. It eventually filtered the water after about two or three hours. Since that moment it seems to have stabilized itself and does let the water filter through quite quickly. I don’t really know what caused this slow filtration process. Not sure if something may have been clogged initially or not

Prodotto che uso da tempo che ho visto da mia figlia che vive negli USA.Mi trovo bene, i filtri rendono l'acqua purissima e poi c'è il tester che ti dice il valore di purezza di qualsiasi acqua.Il grande vantaggio è che non ho più plastica da smaltire e questo ecologicamente parlando è molto importante per la salvaguardia del pianeta.Unica cosa negativa il prezzo un po alto.

Ma femme et moi buvons chaque jour réciproquement un litre à un litre et demie par jour,nous utilisons l'eau du robinet rafraichie la nuit dans notre buanderie, qui se situe entre 16 à 18°.D'autre part nous utilisons deux filtres, le plus ancien, nous donne de l'eau aujourd'hui à 118 ppm, il y à une semaine,il nous la donnait à 0,10 ppm , l'eau du robinet aujourd'hui est à 234 ppm, elle est déjà montée à 280 ppm.Dans ces conditions, le filtre neuf, qui a été changé il y a 8 jours, dure environ 30 jours, après ce délai, il n'est plus à zéro ppm. I was so surprised that after about 15 days of using this filter when the water tasted great suddenly it started to smell "fishy". After 3 days of using the "fishy" smelling water, most of us in a home of 4 people stopped using it. In undertaking a Google search, I came across an article that mentioned that this is a real issue with many customers. Apparently, ZERO filters are known after some usage to have "fishy" smelling filtered water, which indicates it is time to change the filter. This is not disclosed by the manufacturer. Also, if in my house if I have to change the ZERO filter every two weeks, at a cost of over $15-18/filter, it is too expensive.

I purchased a 4-pack of these authentic, Zero Water filters for $54.98 CAD which is a great deal. This water is directly comparable to the Dasani water filtration system. I even use this water in my humidifier (in the winter) daily, and find that the humidifier stays cleaner longer and does not emit a film-causing mist. Despite this high usage, each filter easily lasts me about 6 weeks.

TEST YOUR WATER FROM THE TAP WHEN YOU OPEN THE FAUCET (I GET A READING OF 160), LET IT RUN 1 MINUTE AND TEST YOUR WATER AGAIN (I GET 145), LET IT RUN ANOTHER MINUT AND THE TOXINS WILL BE LOWER (I GET 125) IN DOING SO YOUR FILTER WILL LAST LONGER BECAUSE IT WILL FILTER LESS JUNK.

It's great water filter, but it has this fishy smell after less than 1 month of using, which we searched online, is bacteria growing inside or algae cause it's too clean or something. So we decided to switch brand after using zero water for a few months. Just couldn't get rid of the thought "this time the water could taste weird ", it's almost like taking a bet everytime you drink it. Side note we always put our filter water jug in the fridge, so if you leave it in room temperature, it could be "bad" faster.

Der Geschmack ist wirklich sehr gut. Aber ein Filter hält bei uns (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder (2,3), die da sie klein sind nicht so viel trinken wie große Kinder)...... gerade mal 8 Tage... Das ist wirklich zu teuer. Der Geschmack ändert sich auch nachdem die Waasserqualität abnimmt, so dass das Wasser ungenießbar wird. :(

Usually purchase single filters since we don't drink water that much. But wanted to try and save some money and bought the multi pack. Immediately started to have a fishy kind of after taste. Thought maybe the filter needed time but even after almost 2 weeks of usage that after taste isn't going away. Its not that noticeable anymore but still kind of there. Wasn't worth buying in bulk... Hopefully the other filters don't have the same after taste.

Do not buy this product or you will be screwed like me!I started using "Zero" 2 years ago. It worked perfectly.A year ago I ordered a new pitcher on Amazon and it arrived in pieces.In December 2020 I ordered 4 filters on Amazon and they were thin and light.I recently ordered 4 more and the quality is even worse. The are cheaply made, ruff-cut and some of them have holes in the screens!All of the new filters show a 003ppm reading! They are corrupt!I looked on Amazons site and you can NO-LONGER return the filters!WHAT A JOKE!I will never buy anything from "Zero" on Amazon again!Order everything from Zero!

I love these water filters! I switched over from Britta when I learned those don't do a good job. It's really amazing because you can literally taste the difference. It's weird, but really pure water tastes almost a little sweet if you're used to regular water, say, from the tap or bottle water. I also have one those water testing sticks. My tap water is at about 130 to 150. The filtered water is less than 10. I do wish they are cheaper though. They are more expensive than drinking bottles water but the taste is worth it. Also, a recycling option would be nice.

Unser Wasser ist recht kalkhaltig und schmeckt auch so. Es hat einen Leitwert von 380-400 üS. Mit diesem Filter kommt man auf 0 üS. Das Wasser schmeckt auf jeden Fall so gut wie Volvic. Allerdings kommen mit einem Filter rund 40 max. 50 Liter raus, so dass ein Liter Wasser auch 35 Ct kostet. Also kein billiges Vergnügen.

This zero water filter systems works great. An excellent idea but they are way overpriced. I've seen them at Walmart for $20 each but they don't always have them in stock. They are so much cheaper in the USA, but the very second they cross into Canada (greatest country ever) they jump in price 250%.It's a shame having to go back to Brita whose filter systems are inferior but at least the common man can afford them.

Ordered as subscribe and save and pretty sure I received a knock off product. I have tried reaching out to amazon but no response. I’ve been using zero water for years with no issues until now:-lots of air bubbles so water filters very slowly and often gets jammed and the filter requires lots of hitting and bumping to filter the water-filters normally last us 1-2 months but the water in these starts to taste terrible after a few weeks of use

These filters do a great job (judging from the taste of the water at least), but the newer batches seem to only last half as long before needing replacing! Plus, they've had a price increase. As if they weren't expensive enough already. Hence the 3 star rating.

I have had Zero water system for quite a while and it works just as described and we enjoy it better than Britta and I even did the test myself of PPM and the Zero water works incredibly much better. Our coffees and teas taste so much better now as well. We used it in our Nexpresso and now our SodaStream too. - BUT and it is a BIG but.. Check it every so often as we have found after the level of PPM increases over 10 our water smells like fish. So when they say change it at 6 PPM you need to change it soon after that. The way to help extend it further is to keep the filter and pitcher out of the sunlight as this shortens the lifespan of the filter. It is also best to buy them in bulk of four or more for lowest price and low or free shipping.

The price of zerowater filter is a bit steep but it really cleans your water. I have lead in my tap water and this really changed the taste of it.On thing tho. You gotta be patient, it does not filter very fast. If I was to buy again I'd take the biggest tank to have less refill to do.

Would give a 5 star review but as I used them I noticed they started to smell funky pretty quickly compared to the first few I bought from the store. Maybe it's just coincidence but they seem to stink of fishy bacteria after about a month. The original ones lasted about 3x longer.

We purchased a box of these. The first one we bought at the store worked great. We have two systems and once we started to use these that we purchased the charcoal particles were immediately coming out and just got worse. We checked the water and it became worse than our tap water. I would not recommend these to anyone - we purchased a 6 pack and to date we have used 3 and then stopped using them because they are crap! Have not used my pitchers in about 6 months because I do not trust the filters anymore.

These kick the average water filter’s butt. I’m a very fussy water drinker and now that I use these over other brands I will never go back. If you are sensitive to taste in water I strongly recommend these. They seem pricey but last a decent amount of time.
