I really like this container for homemade ice cream. You need to have 1 per quart of ice cream that you make. Therefore, the only drawback is it's size. I wish it was a little bigger, at least by double so that I would need only two instead of four. I bought two red and two orange. They are wonderfully shaped for scooping. I am not sure if they are dishwasher safe so I have been washing them by hand. They are on the expensive side so I don't want to take any chances with the dishwasher.

I have been making lots of home made ice cream. Before purchasing this bowl, I was just using an air tight bowl that I had at home, but it left the ice cream freezer burnt. This bowl is great! No freezer burn and its easy to get the ice cream out of. Its easy to clean and it stores nicely in the freezer because of its design. I really like it and I am thinking about ordering another one.

We decided recently to start making our own ice cream. It soon became apparent that we did not have suitable containers to put them in, to freeze them. I bought two of these babies and they are in use a LOT. Hubby loves his ice cream. Recently, I made banana ice cream, Marionberry ice cream, and this weekend, strawberry ice cream with chunks of strawberries. No extra multi syllable chemicals in this treat, just strawberries, milk, half and half and sugar. It literally takes less than a minute to make ice cream. I use my Ninja Mega Kitchen blender, it whips it up in 30 seconds!! Makes 1.5 qt. Pop the soft serve in these tubs, freeze and eat. It's insulated and dishwasher safe, non slip base. Make ice cream, sorbet, ices, etc.,the tub shape makes it a breeze to use an ice cream scoop. These are a must if you're tired of store bought ice cream and want to make your own. Plus, they come in cool colors.

Nice quality,seals well and is the perfect shape to fit my freezer while taking up minimal space. Because it is long and narrow it is easy to scoop.
