Love this gadget! I make low carb ice creams; mix them up (use a bit of allulose &/or mct oi to prevent too much ice crystallization) and store in this handy container, with just few minutes on the counter you can scoop deliciousness.

Pros: This product has lived up to the claims on its advertisement. After trying multiple ice cream containers, this one has made it easy to serve the ice cream just like in the ice cream parlor.Cons: The product does not have good instructions or ice cream recipes...real shame when the product is so good.Took me a twenty minutes to learn how to separate the base from the actual container to clean it after use.

Absolutely worthless product. I bought two and both cracked the first time I scooped ice cream out of them. The inside is made of a very think and fragile plastic. If you apply pressure to the scoop to get the ice cream out and tap the edge of the container with your scoop you will crack it. I have since ordered the Tovolo 1 quart tubs and the quality is much nicer and sturdier. They are also a lot less bulky than the long tubs. Save your time and money and get the tubs instead.

I have two of these because they're great for homemade ice cream. The shape makes it so easy to pull a nice, round scoop out of the container, and they fit nicely in the freezer even if you don't have a lot of space.

I love this little container. It's sturdy and keeps my home made ice cream from getting so hard I cant scoop it. Also helps with freezer burn. Pretty easy to clean as well. I liked it so much I purchased another.

Bought two of them in Feb of 2014. One is still fine - though I've used it less often. The other wasn't heavily used either - maybe five batches, total. A quarter sized chunk broke off of the inside tub; I think the plastic may be too brittle when frozen. It wasn't dropped or beaten up; I only noticed it when I went to wash it out.It's a great concept and well executed (People with issues having the tubs and/or lid fit together usually can resolve them by turning one part around. Really happy with the overall product, until it broke. From 5 stars to 2.

These ice cream tubs are great for homemade ice cream. Haven’t had any issues with the container cracking anywhere as of yet and they’ve been in our freezer a few months now. I also love that they stack on top of each other so nicely.

I like making ice cream and needed a container specifically for ice cream. I went on line and found the tovolo ice cream tub. The reviewers stated they liked how the ice cream glides when scooping out which I agree. If you make homemade ice cream, I recommend the tovolo ice cream tub.

Be careful using this. Metal ice cream scoops will peel little slivers of silicon off if you scrape the side. I had to pick pink silicone "sprinkles" off our ice cream.

If I was designing a tub specifically for ice cream, I'd ensure the plastic is tough enough not to crack when struck with an ice cream scoop as can be expected to happen when scooping out hardened ice cream. After my first use I've already cracked the bottom of it.This has often been a problem before with lighter plastic containers and this time I wanted a durable BPA free container so went for this but it's turned out a complete waste since it's not even strong enough to withstand expected usage.This Rubbermaid container looks like a good alternative. BPA Free and states it's twice as durable to resist cracking: Rubbermaid 4.5-Cup Freezer Blox Food Storage Container http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OFSH5EC?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1Also search IKEA for the REDA food container set, they aren't BPA free but they have withstood many ice cream batches getting attacked without cracking.

Perfect ice cream holder for my homemade ice cream. Need to order a few more so I have different flavors in the freezer. ***January 2018 - I am changing my opinion on the Ice Cream Tub. After several uses, it cover no longer stays on the tub. I have to use elastic bands to hold it on. Needless to say, I will not be ordering any more of this brand.

Was really excited to use this product. Bought two for my wife's birthday as she has loving ice cream making as a hobby. Unfortunately, the inner plastic broke on one of the two when scooping with a metal ice cream scoop. A little disappointing as it was the first ice cream we made in it. The other is still going strong and I generally like the product, but the durability was unfortunately a little questionable.

Cracked and broke. Does not hold up well even though it was hand washed and used only a few times. I do not recommend it. I had it replaced the first time it cracked (after the initial use) because I though it might have been damaged in shipping. Nope it's a poorly made product.

This is a nice slim, sturdy container for holding my homemade ice cream. A single batch fills it perfectly & is easy to scoop out of. The shape fits nicely in the freezer door. So it is easy to locate. Might need a second one!

We ordered two of these tubs for our homemade ice cream, and they work wonderfully! We bragged about them so much that my mother in law got some. She has since complained that the lids warp and won't stay attached. We've never had that problem with ours and have been using them religiously. Turns out she has been washing them in her high-heat dishwasher. Ours doesn't get nearly as hot, so we have never had any warping. So, if you have a hot dishwasher, just hand wash the lids and you'll be fine!

The lid to this tub does not snap on, it simply rests on top of the tub. Of course, when you put it in the freezer, your ice cream fills with ice crystals, ruining it. Don't waste your money.

This tub holds ice cream nicely, however, the plastic used is too brittle and shatters when frozen. The tab in the lid snapped off the first time we used it, making it very difficult to remove. Later, the inner tub started pulling out and the rim shattered when we tried to snap it back into place.

Piece broke off first time I used it. The inner container gets brittle when frozen and breaks when you try to scoop out the ice cream. It's silly to think something that is meant to hold frozen treats would be able to withstand freezing temperatures.Pros: looks nice, did not cause zombie apocalypseCons: can not be used for it's intended purpose.
