First off, it leaked. So there was a little chocolate oozing out of the bottom. Messy, but not messier than a double boiler, so I wasn't too put off by it. However, the bigger problem is that the paper/cardboard container itself absorbed the oil from the chocolate, so I had to keep adding oil to keep the chocolate from getting too hard or scorching in the microwave. It was a losing battle. By the end of the little tube of chocolate, it was coming out lumpy and I couldn't salvage it. With a double boiler I can usually use all my chocolate, down to scraping it out with a rubber spatula for the last drizzling bits. With this, it felt like a lot of work to keep salvaging it, followed by much more waste than I am used to. Ultimately, this was faster for melting, but no good for actually using the chocolate.

Please don’t waste your money. These are much smaller than I thought. I’ve been making chocolate covered pretzels for years and thought these were cute. NOT. Take it from me, buy a tall drinking glass from the dollar store and use that. Works great and it’s washable and reusable. These are not.

I love these! I have used them twice for dipping pretzel rods. Admittedly, I don't use the microwave to melt the chocolate. I have a Wilton Candy Melt Pot that I use to melt the chocolate and then I pour it into the container to use for dipping. Works very well and super easy cleanup. I can get about half a bag of pretzel rods coated with one container full. Then I just melt more and refill. Sturdy containers - I have done four dozen pretzel rods with just one container and no leaks.

This product was not great at all! The containers were very narrow. The directions says that you can reheat the candy inside the container BUT after the first melt the candy burns inside! Total waste of money!!! I ended up using something totally diff er entry for dipping!

Not what I was expecting. I figured that it would be a little taller since it was for pretzels but it wasn't tall enough for me to dip the pretzels in. I was only able to dip half the pretzel. I definitely won't buy this again.

I had to tape the bottom of the box so the chocolate wouldn't run out. They aren't as thick as i thought they would be. The box could be a bit larger in diameter. The depth is great. I wish i could find this in silicone so it would be easier to just turn it inside out and wash it so you could reuse it. I felt like i wasted too much because i couldn't get a lot of it out after dipping.

I was expecting something more sturdy. The chocolate oozed out the sides. It also seemed like the chocolate got hard, faster. If you already have a solid way of doing your pretzels, I would say stick to that. I ultimately reverted back to my usual way. This is certainly a good concept but needs some tweaking.

Do not buy these! They are extremely narrow and you can't effectively heat the chocolate in them. They are too thin and burned my hand when holding without an oven mitt. Huge waste of money and time in trying to make them work for me!

Melted chocolate leaked through the bottom. One box had a hole in it so we tried another. BIG MESS! These are not leak proof. The boxes wouldn’t completely open up (stayed folded @ edges) making it difficult. Huge disappointment!

Total waste of your money. Uses too much chocolate and you land up throwing a lot away. Uneven heating and cools too quickly. Use a spoon and tap the side lightly, and you get better coverage and less messy.
