Used so far with cookie-crust pies, like pumpkin and cheese. They are definitely non-stick, just needing to be soaked in soap and water, then rubbed thoroughly to get rid of baked-on bits. The bottoms do not tightly fit; foil or a baking tin must be under them to catch any leaks.

I ordered this extra set of 4" spring form pans by Wilton because I do custom made cheesecakes. Just because there is a 'name' attached to a product, doesn't mean it will be serviceable. When you unsnap the spring form, the base is SUPPOSED TO immediately drop, leaving the cheesecake in perfect form. I do use both the parchment paper as well as the baking spray for a clean release, but unless the base is designed to be fractionally smaller than the spring-form with the ring OPEN, you have to PUSH the base OUT and UP from the bottom, to bring the cake up and clear the ring form. (This leaves and unsightly mess around the cake edge.) WILTON'S 4 " SPRING-FORM BASE DOES NOT CLEAR THE RING. While these pans may be usable for other things, they are NOT usable for making cheesecakes. Since I use this type of pan daily, I WILL NOT be ordering these by Wilton's again. I have no problem with 'leaking' as I use a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil around my various sized pans when I bake. Just giving you the warning.

I LOVE THESE THINGS! We use these every day in our restaurant and have for about a year (I think). They are holding up very well. Some of the comments that I read before deciding to purchase this particular pan painted these in a bad light because their batter would seep out the bottom. These are springform pans. If you don't know what that means then do a little research before purchasing them and especially before writing negative reviews because they do what they are supposed to do rather than perform to some uninformed preconceived notion that you might have. They are not liquid tight. They are springform pans.

Gosh, they work beautifully! I've always made meat pies in a muffin tin, and getting them out without messing them up is a challenge. I just bought a new pub food book, and the chef makes his meat pies in these little springform pans. Total game changer. The exit is stress free. I never would have thought about springforms for savory applications. Can't wait to make individual cheesecakes in these little cutie pies! Recommend!

First problem: the pans arrived in a paper shipping envelope, not a protective cardboard box. They were all jumbled in the flimsy, plastic “box” they were in, and they were slightly bent/warped. I didn’t use them because of this damage. I assume this would cause leakage problems when baking. Second problem: the removable sleeve does not lift off of the base (like a full-size springform pan does/should). The sleeve does open/widen a bit, but it doesn’t open far enough to lift it off the base. The base has to be lifted up out of the sleeve! This is not how springform pans are supposed to work. I returned the product.

So-so quality. I bought these based on the mostly positive reviews here. Big mistake. First set arrived with one form badly damaged (top oval in shape). At first I thought it was a shipping damage but box was not damaged. Amazon promptly shipped a replacement. Out of the next three all of them were more or less out of shape but not as bad. Granted with some persuasion forms were finally made to almost circular shape (at least to the naked eye).Three forms out of six were not tight (can easily rotate bottom pan when the side is locked). There is a fix though, one needs to use pliers to bend one of the brackets (the one with one end riveted and another end rolled, see photo). Also rivets are not flat inside and leave impressions on the cake's side.Despite being no-stick, oiling/buttering of the sides and the bottom is highly recommended. While baking mini-cheesecakes it was much easier to separate cakes from the oiled forms and cheesecakes had straighter sides and flatter tops.Also keep in mind that forms are not very deep either (about 1 7/8"). I used cheesecake recipe for 9" form reducing amount of cream cheese to 2 lb instead of 2 1/2 lb (4 8 oz sticks instead of 5) and mix was almost overflowing six forms when using bottoms with edge up. With form bottoms upside down to make it easier to separate cheesecake from the bottom the mix would have probably overflowed the form (the depth becomes about 1 5/16") and the bottom of the cake would still not be flat.

PROS - Quality Latch. Easy to clean. Used in oven with no issues.CONS - Not 100% nonstick surface.CONCLUSION - I've tried other brands and the area that these really succeed over their compitors is in the quality of the latch. I purchased these to make individual cheesecakes and red velvet cakes for holidays. These work great and add an elegant touch to any dinner party. However, please keep in mind these are not individual size for a normal person. My family of four share one of these. My father who is a big sweets eater, can only eat half of one. Since, the first time I used them, I have learned not to fill them so much. This makes it a much more manageable size to consume. Unfortunately, one of the pans was a little less round than the others. I'M OCD so it bugs me but I really don't think anyone has noticed once the sweet treats are out of the pan. Also, if you make something like cheesecake with graham crust, do not leave them in the pans for more than a day. The crust sticks and is hard to get off the pan cleanly without ruining the look of the treat once it's been in there too long.

I bought these for my daughter's cake smash shoot, but I have used them a couple of time since then. We're a 3-person family, and sometimes you just want a tiny cake! I have been able to find recipes for this size. They are sturdily built. They weren't quite round, but I got them from Warehouse, so I'm not deducting any stars for that. My two complaints are: (1) the bottom is textured, which sometimes makes it hard to get things out and (2) the lip where the bottom connects is VERY hard to get clean. I have an infant, so I have weird brushes to get into small sippy cups and whatnot, so I was able to do it. But otherwise, find your Q-tips!

These pans are adorable! They are perfect for mini cheesecakes! I always make a cheesecake to “bring” and a baby one to leave for the cat sitter. Now with the three pans, she gets one, the host or hostess gets a wee one for after, and I have one to come home to! What impressed me most was the solid feel of these. That said they held the heat perfectly. I baked them at the same time as the large cheesecake and I was so pleased when they came out perfectly and without a crack. I did put them in a seperate bain marie, and placed them on the rack below the large one. These little gems also held there seal perfectly. Very impressive!
