I bought the flip-top lid separately from a 16oz bottle and love it as well; lifefactory is very clear that the fliptop is not "upside down in your bag leakproof" so I am happy to have both lids for various occasions/needs. The only negative is that this lid seems to be a tad darker than the silicon sleeve. Overall, I highly recommend this product. Extremely well made.

I've had my water bottle for a couple years and needed to replace the lid. Bought this flip cap and it was loose. Kept unscrewing no matter how tightly I screwed it on. Bought this less than a week ago and today it unscrewed while I was walking (holding the handle of the lid like I've done for years with the old lid) and it came undone and broke the glass on the cement. Totally useless. I would have put up with my old lid (with the straw) had I know.
