I bought this on a whim because I liked the design, it was on sale and my wooden chopping board has seen better days.I love the design and look of it, it's every bit as vibrant and colourful in person. It's got 4 little rubber feet to ensure the board stays in place and the surface is slightly bumpy/textured to help stop the knife from slipping. It's also larger than my existing cutting board and easier to clean properly and looks great leaning against my grey kitchen backsplash.This was my first glass style one and there are a couple of things worth noting. Firstly, I didn't account for the noise it makes when you try to cut things on it. That probably sounds dumb but it's a bit of a scraping a fork on a plate type of noise to my ears.Secondly stuff does slip around on this, onions, chicken, peppers... They can easily slide around when you try to cut, so you have to be careful.As much as I love the look of it, it'll probably be my first and last glass style because of the above 2 points.

Love the chopping board and glad of the injection of colour into my kitchen, however, the little feet on the base of the board fell off on day one of being placed on my kitchen work surface. I had seen someone else complain of the same thing but I chose to purchase anyway. Glad I did but this must be a design fault. I now have no 'feet' on the base of the board.

Got two of these as they make a nice match with a microwave so was very pleased to have them. Both arrived in perfect condition and have been used for a week and are exactly what we were looking for. They are of a good size and will certainly protect the worktop underneath from heat and scrapes etc. The products clean up easily and have quite a sparkle to them in the light. Joseph Joseph do manufacture good quality top end products and these are a great addition to their many kitchen ranges.

I loved the bright designs and brought three different funky chopping boards. I did not listen to other peoples' reviews who warned people about the backs peeling off. Unfortunately, all three of my chopping boards are now clear glass chopping boards as the backs have come off. Really poor design. All 3 boards were different, so this fault seems to be with all chopping boards. The back literally peels off, so the funky design which was the reason I purchased the chopping board for, is gone. If you don't want to pay £15 for a clear glass chopping board (which is what you will end up with), don't waste your money. I never used this in dishwasher. Very disappointed.

I love the design of this worktop saver, as it's bright, fun and retro. The images look slightly more pixelated than I expected, and the background is more light grey than white which is also a shame, but it's nevertheless very attractive. It definitely adds some colour to the kitchen!The toughened glass is obviously great quality, and it's also light enough to move around easily. It looks like it will last for years. However, like all the other Joseph Joseph worktop savers, it's much more expensive than other brands. For me, is just about worth the extra expense because it's the coolest looking retro style worktop saver I could find.

Replaced an old granite chopping board that cracked so was kind of expecting it to not be as good but it’s actually much better as it’s lighter so easier to lift and clean. Bright and cheerful too!

I have had other makes of glass worktop savers,but found they would scratch and that was a concern,but with these they are tougher and withstand a higher heat with things coming out of the oven etc...they are available in a nice range of colours and patterns and Joseph Joseph are the best,so all around pleased with my purchase.

I bought a glass worktop many years ago for peanuts and it's still fine but one of the plastic feet came off. I thught time for a new one. JJ seemed a good idea but in reality it's rather flimsy and unbranded. I see it is lighter but it is very thin. I like a bit of weight to give a sense of quality. Whatever, it works and cleans up okay. Thing with a glass top is that you can bleach it and ensure it is clean of whatever went before.
