Good quality bread bin in design and material (fingerprint proof is a huge bonus vs our chrome one) but loses 1 star as the rivets that hold on the black side panels are silver and on the front edge meaning you see them front on also it isn't soft close/open like our old chrome Brabantia bread bin but the pros outweigh the cons

Lovely addition to kitchen, plenty of room for the home made bread which can be rounder and larger than bought loaves also room for pastries, crumpets etc. Nice and solid looks good, with room on the flat top for the electric tin opener and biscuit barrel, taking these items off the kitchen worktop.Very pleased with it.

Ordered on Saturday, delivered on the Monday and got this to replace an old, tired wooden one and to match similar kitchen items. Was much bigger than expected (didn't look at the measurements), fits an average loaf of bread with lots of room to spare. Seems to keep bread fresher than my old one and easy to open and close. Scored perfect 5 in all areas except ease of cleaning just because like all products made from the same materials you do need to be careful not to use cleaning products that might damage it and you do get the odd smear mark. But otherwise a great bread bin!

I like the matt silver finish. The Black edging. Is a nice slim style. Very spacious interior. Looks very neat and fits in with my kitchen decor. I needed a roll top style to put a few essentials on the top. The roll top 'door' slides nice and smoothly. very pleased with my purchase. Reasonable price too.

Branded as “fingerprint proof”...well it is to a certain extent but not 100%. In fact I can see fingerprints on it today. Good size but found the slide down lid looks somewhat twisted. Air hole at the back for ventilation which is good and on the whole it looks smart and is a lovely size.

This replaces an earlier version on which the handle broke and the inside base rusted in patches over time.It was a good 15 years old so owed us nothing.The new item has a much better handle that runs the width of the bin.The exterior Finnish is good but the interior is still bright metal that in all probability will rust in the next 10-15 year's.

The stylish bin does its job well. As a response to concerns on previous reviews about the possibility of internal rusting I have put a layer of kitchen roll on the bottom inside and all seems perfectly dry.Very happy.
